Conference Speakers

Robert G. Buntz is a Research Veterinarian at Mantel Technologies and the Principal Investigator in several canine-focused programs. He earned a B.S. in biochemistry from Arizona State University and a D.V.M. from Colorado State University. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Buntz served several years as a Special Forces Medical Sergeant with multiple overseas combat deployments. His current research focus is in canine trauma medicine and working dog performance. In addition to research, Dr. Buntz is an actively practicing clinical veterinarian in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Mantel Technologies is a small business/defense contractor that develops products and technology and provides technical services to support National Security end users operating in challenging environments; and, where practical and appropriate, pursues commercial markets for products developed.
