Conference Speakers

Wolfgang Bergmeier, PhD, is a biomedical researcher working in the fields of signal transduction, platelet biology, and hemostasis and thrombosis. His laboratory research spans from Harvard Medical School to the Cardeza Foundation for Hematologic Research in Philadelphia to the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, where currently he is a Professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics and a member of the UNC Blood Research Center. His ongoing work focuses on better understanding G protein signaling in platelets and megakaryocytes.
